A mouthguard tray. Impression putty. Instructions on how to properly make your dental impression

Self-impression system
IMPORTANT:
Do not use with braces, removable dental appliances, or loose teeth. Please store and use in a room temperature below 80°F. Adult supervision required. (If under 18.)
Choose a tray that best fits your mouth. All your teeth should fit comfortably inside of the tray.
Open the two colored impression material and begin kneading the two putties together until they become a uniform color.
After material is thoroughly mixed, roll into a sausage-shape and place into the outer walls of the tray you have selected.
Place tray in mouth and bite firmly until your teeth are close to touching the bottom of the tray. Pull your upper lip over the front of the tray. Leave tray in place until putty sets.
Remove tray from mouth and inspect impression. A good impression should include all the teeth and extend onto the gums.
Rinse in water. Allow to completely set for five minutes. Once set, place in bag it came in along with any unused trays. Make sure you clearly print your name on the bag.

HOW TO USE THE SPORTSGUARD MOUTHGUARD DENTAL SELF-IMPRESSION (S-IS) KIT
This important first step is how Sportsguard will get an impression of your teeth from which we will make your custom fit guard.
PLEASE READ THROUGH ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE STARTING THE IMPRESSION PROCESS. PLEASE COMPLETE TWO SETS OF IMPRESSIONS.
After completing these instructions, you will have two dental impression molds of your teeth that will be returned to us using the provided pre-paid shipping box (U.S. Customers Only). We will evaluate both impressions and determine which is the better of the two. From that impression, your form-fitting mouthguard will be crafted and shipped back to you.
Self Impression Kit
You should receive your mouthguard in 2-3 weeks. If you have questions or problems, please contact customer service.
IMPORTANT: Please store and use in a room temperature below 80°F. If you are unsure if your impression is good on the first try, email us a picture and we will evaluate it and offer tips for success before you make the second impression. Be sure to complete and return both impressions. Our dental lab technician will decide which will work best. If after two tries you still need help you can order another set of impression material.
